no, no, friend - the question was perfectly valid.

and whilest you were feeling ditzy yesterday, i was clutzy beyond belief. ask anyone who saw me. i dropped everything, spilled everything, tripped over everything, walked into manythings... it was ... embarrassing. really. me. embarrassed. that's saying something.
not sure what.

but something.

i miss you truculantly. can't wait for breakfast. 7am? my place?
love you.

Truculently?

Are you sure?

tru·cu·lent
Pronunciation: -l&nt
Function: adjective
Etymology: Latin truculentus, from truc-, trux savage; perhaps akin to Middle Irish trĂș doomed person
1 : feeling or displaying ferocity : CRUEL, SAVAGE
2 : DEADLY, DESTRUCTIVE
3 : scathingly harsh : VITRIOLIC (truculent criticism)
4 : aggressively self-assertive : BELLIGERENT
- tru·cu·lent·ly adverb

You miss me cruelly/savagely/belligerently/destructively?

Wow. I mean, I was going to say that I miss you desperately/wildly/terribly. But truculently . . . I cannot compete with that.

oh yes, i knew the word i wielded. 9th grade vocab. made such a splash in our class - became the official word of the entire year - a bunch of 9th graders using the word truculent whenever they possibly could. if that thought scares you - yeah. it was scary.
anyway.

later.
